Most of us would not know how to function without our credit cards. We rely on our credit cards to pay bills, to run our businesses and to allow us to purchase items now rather than saving for them. Of course, there are some things that cannot be done with credit cards. For example, there are instances of credit cards refusing to pay online gambling obligations. However, the instances when we cannot use our credit cards are few and far between.

Many of these credit card offers will be pre-approved charge accounts. Offers for unsecured credit cards as well as credit cards guaranteed to have a wonderful credit limit flow into our email boxes as well. We are invited to compare credit cards, their interest rates, and reliability of use in the hopes that this process of credit card comparison will convince us that the free credit card offer in front of us is the best credit card deal we have ever seen. Many of us could do without a least one less credit card in our wallet. We often fall for the enticing nature of the best credit card deals, creating a situation where we can charge far more than we can reasonably repay. Even the best credit card offers should sometimes be turned down, simply because we do not need any more credit.
